According to recent reports, LAX International Airport has been ranked as one of the most dangerous airports in the United States. This is according to a report by Travel and Leisure magazine, which compared thirty five of the busiest commercial airports in America. Korean Air to start flying world’s largest passenger aircraft from LAX


It has been announced that Korean Air is to start running a regular scheduled commercial flight from Los Angeles International Airport to Incheon International Airport near Seoul. The flights will be aboard the Airbus A380 jetliner, which is the world’s largest passenger aircraft. For the moment Korean Air will offer three weekly flights aboard the airbus. Passengers evacuated from LAX terminal

According to recent reports a number of passengers had to be evacuated from Terminal 6 at LAX International Airport recently after a small fire broke out. The fire is said to have broken out in an elevator that was under construction at the airport. It was reported that debris from the construction, which was in the elevator shaft, was accidentally ignited by a welder. Chemicals seized at LAX

In one of a number of recent similar incidents, officials at LAX International Airport have recently seized a shipment of chemicals which are known to be used for the production of methamphetamine. According to reports forty drums containing 2200 pounds of methylamine hydrochloride and two barrels with 880 pounds of ethyl phenyl acetate were seized.
