Perishable good centre to be built next to LAX

It has been reported that a logistics firm is set to build a perishable goods center on land next to LAX International Airport. Work has already started on the facility which is being constructed by Apollo Freight. The center will be built on 37,000 square feet of land that has been recently acquired by LAX Airport. TSA avoids ‘Snakes on a Plane’ scenario

TSA officials at Miami Airport this week managed to avoid a situation reminiscent of the movie ‘Snakes on a Plane’ after catching a passenger trying to make it past security with snakes – in his pants! The Florida man didn’t get past the body scanner and was arrested at the scene after trying to sneak aboard TEN reptiles in his pants. Fired TSA worker from LAX received payout

It was reported recently that a transgender TSA employee who was based at LAX Airport received a five figure payout from the company after she was fired for using the ladies’ toilets at the airport. According to reports Ashley Yang was ordered to dress like a male and engage in patting down men during security checks. Loaded gun found in LAX luggage

In a recent security incident at LAX airport it was reported that a loaded gun had been found in the carry on luggage of a passenger from Alabama. The gun was discovered as the passenger passed through the security checkpoint earlier this week at LAX airport, After the gun was discovered the passenger, twenty five year old Joshua Banks, was arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm. TSA officer indicted over LAX thefts

There has been a lot of unrest and controversy over the theft of travelers’ belongings at LAX airport at the hands of officers from the Transportation Security Administration. It has now been revealed that a TSA officer has been indicted on five charges of theft from passenger baggage at LAX. The officer, Paul Yashou, 38, of Torrance, was indicted by a federal grand jury over the theft of four watches as well as one prepaid debit card from the luggage… read more »

Man travels to LAX Airport without any documentation

There is a big question mark hanging over airport security in the United States after it was revealed that a man managed to board a flight from Kennedy Airport to LAX without having any property documentation. The man was a Nigerian national and had no passport or ID – just an expired boarding pass that didn’t even belong to him!
